Weekly Update - Week of March 22
Hello Pega Community,
There’s just over three weeks left until submissions for the Pega Community Hackathon are due on Friday, April 9. Over 440 registrations have come in so far and we’re looking forward to many more over the weeks to come!
A quick reminder that if you are a member of a team that is working on a Hackathon submission, all members of your team must be registered on Devpost in order for you to be eligible to compete for one of the 8 Hackathon prizes that will be awarded by our judges.
Now let’s go to our weekly announcements:
TechTalk Video Series
Our latest episode for Hackathon participants is now available! “Application Delivery Through Deployment Automation” breaks down how you can leverage Pega Deployment Manager to streamline development of your Pega applications by implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
Don’t forget that you can access all TechTalks in the Pega Express Month series by visiting the Pega Express homepage.
Office Hours
Every Wednesday until April 7 we’re giving you the chance to receive assistance on your Pega Community Hackathon applications from Pega experts! We have scheduled these Office Hour sessions to be convenient for most major time zones.
You can register for an Office Hour session here and a calendar invite will be sent to you ahead of the Office Hour that you choose.
Pega Express Month - Build Week
Build Week of Pega Express Month continues until April 5. This phase is where the sprints kick in and you start configuring and testing your user stories. This is often everyone's favorite phase as you begin to generate real energy and momentum.
Join Pega's Ralph Booth (Pega Express Director) and Dion Lammers (Methodology Director) on Pega Collaboration Center to have your Build Week questions answered. We also have a new post from Keith Buehlman (Agile Business Coach) on the Pega Community Blog with expert tips on leveraging Scrum to maximum effect with the Pega Express approach.
