Why are we hackathoning anyway?

Hi everyone!

In February, Stephanie Louis published a blog post describing some reasons for participating in this year's hackathon (https://community.pega.com/blog/pega-hackathon-crush-complexity-2021). Last week, Ben Baril wrote about how participating in hackathons can help with career development (https://community.pega.com/blog/advancing-your-career-goals-pega-community-hackathon).

It's all got me thinking about why I am participating this year (I know, I know. Pega employees aren't eligible for prizes, but that doesn't mean we need to be left out of all the fun!) Personally, I'm looking to solve a basic challenge or two and I want to use this as a chance to begin my journey as a citizen developer at Pega.
